i love my sober friends!! i didnt know WHAT i was doing today, except that i was going to go to a meeting tonight, and my friend valerie just called. she's meeting a friend to go to a stoop sale in park slope, followed by a sober birthday party at prospect park, followed by coffee with katie, followed by a meeting. and she invited me to come along for any or all. and frankly it sounds awesome. i totally want to go be outside but tommy and i just came back from the dog run and it is too hot for the poor guy out there. i wanted to get him groomed today but apparently i shouldnt have waited until the last possible minute to try to get an appointment. poor tommy. he's so hot in all that fur. so anyway, yeah, it seems like it will be a good day.
and then new job tomorrow. :(
